Prehistoric Terrains Collection Vol.1 | 12 Terrains at 8k resolution, Heightmaps+Textures+Mesh
"Prehistoric Terrains" is a series inspired by Cretaceous and Jurassic ages featuring a wide variety of terrains such as impact sites, swamps, rivers zones, oceanic zones and various lands. All the terrains featured in these series are artistic representation based on real life geological features commonly present during those ages. As such they can't be considered scientifically accurate.
This 1st volume includes 12 terrains.
Every terrain is handmade to achieve the highest level of quality for AAA and VFX productions. Each one is unique in its kind while retaining the similarities of their biome to ensure the highest degree of consistency. Heightmaps and albedo textures are provided in addition to masks for a quicker and easier texturing/scattering workflow. A SubD ready all quads .obj mesh is also included.
Every texture is uncompressed to preserve the quality. You can convert them in any other format you want ( ex. PNG 8 bit for game engines albedo ) to reduce the size or if you need another format. More info in the PDF guide.

- 8k and 4k albedo texture in PNG 16 bit for every terrain
- 8k and 4k water mask in PNG 16 bit if water is present
- 8k and 4k rocks mask in PNG 16 bit if rocky formations are present
- 8k and 4k lava mask in PNG 16 bit if lava is present
- 8k and 4k vegetation mask in PNG 16 bit if plants are present
- .obj SubD ready all quads mesh of each terrain equivalent to a 2k height map in terms of details
- Thumbnails of each terrain to easily recognize them
