"Above Clouds" is part of the "HDRI Above Clouds Series" which features 10k equirectangular resolution ( 2:1 ) images suitable both for background rendering and lighting of scenes. All images are rendered using a 360° spherical projection without any cropping.
All the skies are digitally crafted in Terragen which features one of the most realistic physical based environment simulating real life effects such as ozone, Rayleigh & Mie scattering and more. Masks are included for both clouds and atmosphere for further compositing work. All the files are in OpenEXR 32 bit format.
They can also be used in a game engine however they may need to be converted or reduced to a lower resolution based on the type of engine.
This 2nd volume features cloudy and sparse cumulus clouds during day, sunset and dawn time. The altitude at which the camera is positioned is 9000 m (9 km or 29527 ft) above sea level.
